Kapamilya celebrity love team Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano expressed their gratitude to their supporters after they bagged several awards recently.

Belle received the Gen-Z Approved Celebrity award at the Nylon Manila Big Bold Brave Awards. Nylon also named DonBelle Favorite Ship. Meanwhile, Donny was included in People’s Asia “Men Who Matter” for 2022.

“Sobrang nagpapasalamat kami. And to those of you who supported us, we would not have done this, we wouldn't have gotten this without you guys,” Belle said in an interview with Star Magic Inside News.

According to Belle, she considers receiving awards and getting recognized a dream come true.

"To the people who saw us as deserving of these awards, sobrang nakakatuwa po and sobrang grateful lang kami because me personally, I love receiving awards. Totoo ‘yan. And ever since, it's been my dream to receive awards and to be recognized. And parang may sense of fulfillment na I got an award so thank you so much to everyone who supported us,” the actress stated.

Donny said that the recognition motivates him and Belle to strive more as artists.

“Sobrang appreciative kami sa lahat ng nag-decide for giving us this recognition. It means a lot to us. It keeps us motivated. It keeps us wanting to strive more,” Donny said.

When asked what’s next for their team up, Donny teased: “We have a big project in the works right now. So, I'm sure aabangan 'yan ng supporters natin. Siyempre kami sobrang excited kami sa material.”

“And may isa pa silang aabangan, ‘yung US tour natin, abangan din nila. Magkita-kita tayo diyan guys,” Belle added.

Donny and Belle are set to perform in America for the “Beyond the Stars US Tour” this coming August alongside different Kapamilya celebrities.

On what they are looking forward to on their tour, Donny replied: “To be able to travel and see stuff that we don't normally see and to do stuff that we don't normally do it's really exciting.”

Belle said it has been a while since she rode a plane to travel abroad so she’s really excited to see new places again.

“I think another factor there is oh my gosh, when was the last time na sumakay ako ng eroplano abroad? I think that's one of the most exciting parts for me to travel outside the country since ‘yun nga he said earlier parang we've all been stuck in one place and you just want to see new stuff,” Belle said.

DonBelle is currently starring in the second season of He’s Into Her. Donny plays the role of Deib while Belle portrays the character of Maxpein.

The series is a massive success and gained a huge following among televiewers.

In an interview with Metro.Style last year, Donny shared why he thinks the series appeals to many viewers.

"I love what Direk Chad [Vidanes] said. Love doesn't choose. It doesn't choose a specific age, a specific person. It happens to everyone, which is why a lot of people, even if you're not in high school like in 'He's Into Her,' [enjoy the show]," Donny said.

The second season of the series is set to premiere this August. A grand concert called "HIH All Access" will be happening on August 27 as a treat to their fans and to celebrate the success of the series.
